Step 3- Push seat forward about 1/4”. Install a bolt on one side, leaving a little loose, then go to
the other side and install that bolt.

Step 4- Tighten the bolts evenly, a little on one side then the other. If one bolt is completely
tightened first, it will cock the seat to one side making the other bolt hard to install. A 1/4” space
between the side brackets and the frame is needed to put pressure on the nose bracket as the
screws are tightened. Important: The seat centers itself on the fuel tank, not the side covers- the
left side cover is 1/2” to 5/8” wider.
