Mounting of Mustang Seat
Note: VT1100 Spirit model requires supplied bracket to be mounted in rear set of holes.
1. Engage the nose tab into receiver at base of the fuel tank, not under the fuel tank
flange. This may require pushing down firmly on nose of seat. If the seat is loose, the
tongue is under the fuel tank tab instead of in the receiver below it.
2. Slide the seat forward to align the chrome rear bracket with the fender mount.
3. Position the nylon washer between the fender and the chrome rear tab on the seat.
4. The chrome rear tab on the seat may be above the fender up to 1”, so press down
firmly and secure with the stock screw or acorn nut.
Note: Side mounting bolts are not used with the Mustang One-Piece Seats.
