Using the Trackball
You can use the nine-direction trackball to do the following:
• Push it upward, downward, leftward, or rightward to navigate
through menus.
• Push in left-slanted upward/downward, or right-slanted upward/
downward direction to move through a screen.
• Press down to confirm a command, launch a selected
application, or open a file.
Using the Input Panel
When you start an application or select a field that requires text, symbols, or numbers, the Input
Panel icon appears on the menu bar. Tap the Input Panel to select any of these input methods: Block
Recognizer, Keyboard, Letter Recognizer, and Transcriber.
Tracking ball
