Using editing gestures

Use editing gestures in the writing pad or in the character pad. There are two sets of

editing gestures that you can use:
• Common editing gestures used on handheld computers or PDA devices.
• Editing gestures from the Simplified Chinese (PRC) standard, GB/T 18790-2002,

adopted by the Chinese government.

Editing gestures used on handheld computers

Draw a long line.

Draw a long line.

• Draw a 90-degree angle between the upward and rightward sections

of the stroke.

• Draw the rightward section of the stroke two to four times longer than

the upward section.
