Chapter 2: BIOS information

FSB / CPU External Frequency Synchronization

CPU Frequency [xxx]

Displays the frequency sent by the clock generator to the system bus and PCI bus. The

value of this item is auto-detected by the BIOS. Use the <+> and <-> keys to adjust

the CPU frequency. You can also type the desired CPU frequency using the numeric

keypad. The values range from 200 to 800. Refer to the table below for the correct

Front Side Bus and CPU External Frequency settings.

Overclock Options [Overclock 5%]

Allows you to select the overclock options. Configuration options: [Overclock 5%]

[Overclock 10%] [Overclock 15%] [Overclock 20%] [Overclock 30%] [Test Mode]

DRAM Frequency [Auto]

Allows you to set the DDR2 operating frequency. Configuration options: [Auto]

[667 MHz] [800 MHz] [1067MHz]

The following item appears only when you set the AI Overclocking item to [Overclock

Profile].

• The configuration options vary with different CPUs.
• The following table shows the DRAM Frequency options that appear when the FSB

value is 1600, 1333, 1066, and 800.

Memory Voltage [Auto]

Allows you to adjust Memory Over voltage and each step is 0.01500V. Valid value is from

1.50000V to 2.44500V.

PCI Express Frequency [xxx]

Allows you to adjust the PCI Express frequency. The values range from 90 to 150.
