General safety

The MBM-1 is intended for indoor use only. Keep away from damp or humid environments.
Keep the motor and housing dust free and do not allow particles to enter the mechanism.
Clean the MBM-1 periodically with a dry, lint free cloth. Do not use solvents on the casing.
Keep away from heat sources or direct sunlight.

Installation

The MBM-1 mirror ball motor is powered by a single 1.5V cell (D type) which should be installed before
installation. Open the battery compartment and connect the D cell, ensuring the correct polarity as
indicated.Positioning of the mirror ball motor is very important. Safety is the most important factor. Please
note the following to avoid failure and possible injury…

The motor and mirror ball should be out of reach to avoid tampering

The mirror ball should not weight more than 2kg

The chain holding the mirror ball should be adequate for the load

The fixing into the ceiling must be strong enough to hold both mirror ball and motor

Operation

To start the motor rotation, slide the side-mounted switch to the on position. The spindle will rotate and
so the mirror ball will rotate also. The MBM-1 is hinged to allow some sideways movement if the load is
not perfectly symmetrical. Remember to switch off when not needed to preserve the battery. If not being
used for long periods, remove the battery and store in a dry place.
