Introduction


Thank you for choosing the STP-2 stereo phono preamplifier as part of your audio system.
This unit has been designed to allow vinyl turntables to be connected to line level or

auxiliary inputs, whilst delivering the best sound quality possible.

Setup and Connection

Ensure turntable is fitted with a magnetic cartridge

Connect phono outputs from the turntable to the inputs (1)

of the STP-2 via good quality RCA leads

Connect the outputs (4) from the STP-2 to the line or

auxiliary inputs of the mixer or amplifier

Connect the supplied 9V power adaptor to the DC jack (3)

and move the slide switch (2) to “ON”

The STP-2 will now boost the turntable output from phono

to line level

The front of the STP-2 can pivot open to reveal the battery

compartment allowing a PP3 battery to be used if preferred
