Activating the USB Port for the First Time
NOTE: When DataViewer is installed on your computer, the Extron USB Driver is
installed at the same time. This driver is required to connect your computer to
any Extron product with a USB port.
When the USB connection is made, the Found New Hardware Wizard opens automatically.

1. Select No, not this time and click Next .
The second Hardware Wizard screen opens:

2. Select Install the software automatically and click Next .
Follow the on-screen instructions. The wizard installs the driver necessary to access the
MLA VC10 Plus USB port (this may take a few minutes).
3. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
Using DataViewer
To use DataViewer, see the help file that comes with the program. The help file can be
accessed by opening the program and either press the
<F1> key or clicking on Use help in
the Help menu.
