MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION!
Always turn off the device before cleaning
and replacing the accessories! Clean all
the components with a damp cloth and
make sure these are completely dry before
re-using them or putting them away!
Clean the device immediately after each use and when there
is hair or dirt trapped in the trimming unit.
• Do not clean the device with powder or abrasive liquid such
as alcohol or petrol.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other form of
liquid as to do so can damage it.
• Always keep the device in a cool and dry area, preferably in
its original packaging or in a cool and dry cabinet.
BLADE LOCKING DEVICE
• Switch the appliance off and remove the plug of the adaptor
(15).
• Remove the adjustable comb (6 or 7) by pressing the
adjustment button (8) and sliding the adjustable comb (6 or
7) off the appliance [Fig. C3].
• Press the middle part of the blade locking device (5)
upwards with your thumb until it opens [Fig. D1], and then
remove it from the appliance.
• Be careful not to drop the blade locking device (5) on the
ground.
• Clean the blade locking device (5) and the inside part of the
appliance with the provided brush (13) [Fig. D2, D3].
• Place the tab of the blade locking device (5) in the slot and
snap the unit in position [Fig. D4].
