Operation
- Insert the plug in the socket.
- Insert the food in the clamp.
- Insert the clamp in the cooking seat f [Fig. E].
- Choose the required power (450 or 750 Watts) using the switch b depending on the type of food to be toasted [Fig. F].
- Turn the knob of timer a clockwise until the required cooking time is selected [Fig. G].
NB: if the wrong cooking time is set, return the timer knob to position “0” by turning anticlockwise.
Then reset the selected position.
- Wait for the “cooking completed” sound signal and remove the clamp.
Warning:
- Never put hands, forks or other implements into the cooking seat, even when the appliance is switched off.
- Never put food wrapped in metal foil into the clamp
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from the power socket.
- Remove the clamp.
- Remove the crumb tray c to clean it [Fig. H].
- The casing e may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use rough cloths or abrasive detergents.
- Wash the crumb tray with hot water and detergent or in the dishwasher, with the program at 55 °C.
- Wash the clamp with hot water and detergent only.
Warning:
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Never use metal implements (forks, knives, etc.) to remove residues of food from the cooking seat.
