TOASTER

Using for the first time
When the appliance is new it may give off smoke and a typical smell of new. It is therefore advisable to use it 2 or 3 times empty before
placing any food.

Warning! Beware of burns:
- Do not touch the food or the metal parts of the toaster with the hands while they are very hot.

Operation
- Place the slice of bread in the cooking seat a [Fig. A].
- Turn the timer knob b clockwise to select the required cooking level [Fig. B].
- Insert the plug in the socket.
- Lower on/off lever g to the limit switch to start toasting: the indicator light comes on [Fig. C]. Once the toasting cycle has finished,

the appliance will automatically turn off and the on/off lever will return to its original position, lifting the toasted slices.

- To extract the toasted slices more easily, raise the on/off lever over its original position [Fig. D].
Nb: toasting can be stopped at any time by pressing stop button c: the on/off lever will return to the starting position [Fig. E].

Warning!
- Use the toaster to toast single slices of bread or pre-sliced bread. Avoid foods or fillings that melt during cooking.
- Never put hands, forks or other implements into the cooking seat, even when the appliance is switched off.

Toasting positions

Frozen foods require a little more time to toast.

CLEANING

- Disconnect the appliance from the power socket.
- Remove the crumb tray e to clean it [Fig. F].
- Clean the body d with a damp cloth. Do not use rough cloths or abrasive detergents.
- Wash the crumb tray with hot water and detergent or in the dishwasher, with the program at 55°C.

Warning!
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Never use metal implements (forks, knives, etc.) to remove residues of food from the cooking seat.
