• The ready-for-use green LED (2) goes off intermittently during cooking to

indicate that the plates are warming up, thereby guaranteeing the pre-set

temperature.

• Pay attention not to scratch the non-stick coating when removing the food.

The lower plate has a spout to drain the cooking liquids (7). Collect the cooking liquids in a

suitable container (not supplied).

USEFUL TIPS

• Always warm the plates before placing the food.

• Sausages tend to crackle while cooking. Prick them with a fork before cooking.

• A better result is achieved with fresh meat rather than defrosted or frozen meat.

• Vegetables can be brushed with oil before being grilled.

• All food (as long as it is not too fatty or full of liquid) can be cooked wrapped in

greaseproof paper, so as not to dirty the plates.

• The grill can be used to cook food such as hamburgers, sausages, vegetables, bread

rolls, flat bread, toasted sandwiches and wraps.

• Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness, the temperature of the food and

personal taste: this table provides approximate cooking times.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn the grill off by setting the O/I switch (8) to O.

• Disconnect the mains cable with plug (9) from the socket.

• Let the grill cool down completely.

• Clean the plates with a damp sponge and soap.

• Clean the outer part of the grill with a damp and well-wrung sponge.

• Dry with a dry cloth.

Do not use abrasive sponges or sharp tools, which could ruin the non-stick

coating.
