NOTE:

The safety interlock (10C) does not allow closing the dust bag compartment cover

(8) if the dust bag (10B) is missing or not fitted properly [FIG. F3C].
If suction has not increased after changing the dust bag (10B), replace the motor protection

filter (10D).

CLEANING AND REPLACING THE MOTOR PROTECTION FILTER (10D):

NOTE:

• Replace the filter in the event it is damaged or impossible to clean.

• Replace the filter at least once a year.

• Failure to clean or replace the filter will make the manufacturer’s warranty null

and void.

• Pull the dust bag compartment lever (9) [FIG. F1].

• Remove the dust bag compartment cover (8) [FIG. F2].

• Remove the motor protection filter (10D) [Fig F4A].

• Clean the filter (10D) shaking and brushing the dust off with care. Use a soft brush to

prevent any damage.

• If the filter (10D) is clogged by dust, wash it thoroughly with water. Take care not to

damage the filter and let it dry completely.

IMPORTANT!

Let the filter dry for at least 24 hours after washing it. Do not reinstall the

filter if it is damp!

• If suction has not increased after changing the dust bag (10B) and cleaning the motor

protection filter (10D), replace the filter with a new one.

• Reinstall the pre-motor filter (10D), inserting it in its guides (10E) [Fig. F4C].

• Fasten the dust bag compartment cover (8), inserting the lower part into its guide

[FIG. F2].

• Press the upper part of the dust bag compartment cover until it snaps into place, which

indicates that the dust bag compartment lever is properly locked (9).
