To replace batteries
Remove the battery compartment cover and attach the
new batteries into the slots.
Operating the scales
1. Place the scales on a hard and flat surface.
2. If using a bowl, place the bowl on the scales before
turning the unit on. If using the tare function place
the bowl on the scales after turning on the unit and
press the Z/T button.
3. Press and release ON/OFF button to turn on the unit.
4. Wait until the display prompts to “0” before starting to weigh.
Selecting weight units
To select your desired unit of weight press the UNIT button
until the desired unit is displayed. This function can also be
used during the weighing process to view the different
metric units. The units available are Ounces, Pounds and
Ounces, Grams and Kilograms.
