place the unit on a hot surface.

Always remove the plug of the appliance safely. Do not pull on the

Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands.

Using the appliance



First check that the voltage marked on the product is equal to or greater
than your supply voltage.



Select a suitable position (close to an electric socket) on a dry and even
surface.



Make sure the control button is turned to the minimum setting and plug in
the appliance.



There is an invisible protective coating applied on the hot plates as part of
the manufacturing process. This protective coating must be removed
before you can use the appliance for the first time. In order to do this, set
the control to the maximum setting and leave it switched on for approx. 10
minutes. Make sure that the room is properly ventilated, as smoke will
develop. This is not a cause for concern; it is the process by which the
protective coating is removed. Switch off the hot plate and allow it to cool
completely.



Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the
hot plate. The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the hot
plates.



Select the temperature. The hot plate has a range of temperatures.



Due to the construction of the hotplate, residual heat will remain after you
switch it off. This may be used to keep food warm for a short period of
time. After use, turn the temperature dial to minimum and unplug the
appliance from the electrical outlet.
