• Batteries may leak if empty or not used for a longer time. In order to
protect you and the appliance, please remove batteries in a timely
manner and avoid skin contact whilst handling leaking batteries.
Description
Batteries
This appliance operates on three 1.5 volt batteries type LR 6, AM 3,
MN 1500, AA. For best performance, use alkaline manganese batteries
(e.g. Duracell).
A Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment by pressing the release button (6).
Insert the batteries with the poles in the direction marked (A) and close the
battery compartment by clicking it in.
Using your beard trimmer
B Beard trimming
• Place the small distance comb on the beard trimmer while the on/off
switch (3) is on position «0».
• To start trimming, press the on/off switch and push it up to the desired
beard length. You may choose between 6 settings: approx. 1, 3, 6, 9, 12,
16 mm.
• It is advisable to begin with the highest setting (position «6») and then
reduce the setting until you reach the desired beard length.
