Safety and Operation

1. Safe Operation

- Please be careful while operating the Rickshaw: the motor is fairly strong so be cautious

while engaging the throttle.

- While wearing a helmet is not

2. Driving

- The Rickshaw turns on simply by inserting the key into and then turning the ignition. You

will know it has turned on once the “POWER” signal on the dashboard lights up.

- This scooter is operated via a throttle. The motor will engage once the throttle is turned:

the more the throttle is engaged, the more the power is sent to the motors. Please turn the
throttle slowly before operation to allow yourself to get use to it. Pulling the throttle all the
way immediate may be dangerous.

- Reverse is available and is simple to operate: there is a red switch on the right handlebar

with the letters F (forward) and R (reverse) on it. While in reverse, the scooter will emit
consistent beeps indicating that the bike is set to reverse.

- Similar to the throttle, the brakes (located directly in front of both handles) function

according to pressure applied: the harder your press the brakes, the faster you will come
to a stop. This scooter features a function that will disable all motor function once brakes
are applied: the throttle will not

- The turn signals operate according to the location of the switch: Left, Neutral, or Right. To

disengage the turn signal, simply return the switch to the neutral position.

3. Extra Functions

- There is a button to operate the horn on the left handlebar, just under the turn signals.

- To turn on the lights, simply operate the switch on the right handlebar. High beam is also

available and can be adjusted on the left handlebar (just above the turn signal).

- The alarm can be armed while the scooter is turned off. Simply press the button below the

light switch on the right handle bar while the scooter is off and you should hear some
beeps indicating the alarm has been armed.
