Equipment Required:

Wrenches: 19 mm

1.

CAUTION: SUPPORT THE BUMPER STRUCTURE AS REQUIRED DURING HITCH INSTALLATION.

2.

3.

Remove three (3) existing M12 hex flange bolts from the factory-installed bumper bracket (both sides). Retain for later use.

4.

Position the bumper bracket and hitch on the outboard side of the frame rail as shown (one side at a time). Make sure the

electrical wire does not get crushed between the hitch and frame rail.

5.

Loosely reinstall the existing M12 flange bolts (removed in Step 3) through the hitch side bracket, bumper bracket, frame rail, and

three (3) rearmost existing weld nuts.

6.

With 1/2” flat washer located between the frame rail and the hitch side bracket, loosely install 1/2” conical washer and M12 hex

bolt through the remaining existing weld nut as shown.

7.

Repeat Steps 4-6 for the other side.

8.

Make sure bumper-to-bed clearance is the same as measured in Step 2 before tightening all fasteners to specification.
