Selecting the installation location
Wichtiger Hinweis: Refer to the probe user manual when installing
the fmounting hardware. Note all safety instructions and hazards.
Hinweis: When selecting the installation location, always ensure there is
safe access to all parts of the system and that the sensor will never hit the
tank wall.
During the selection of the installation location, pay attention to:
• The load bearing capacity and strength of the railings (lever
forces due to flow and installation)
• The maximum cable and tubing lengths
• The flow conditions and the space required when taking the
sensor out of the tank for cleaning
Hinweis: Refer to the probe user manual for sensor cleaning instructions.
Installing the rail mount hardware
1. Find a suitable installation location and loosely fit the mounting
bracket to the railings (
Figure 3: on page 5 ).
2. Fit the immersed pipe bracket (joint) to the mounting bracket
using the two locking pins (
Figure 4: on page 6 ).
3. Fit the immersed pipe through the immersed pipe bracket and
tighten the large knurled bolt (
Figure 5: on page 6 ).
Hinweis: Lock the joint using the small knurled bolt and lock the
immersed pipe using the large knurled bolt.
4. Install the immersed pipe support ( Figure 6: on page 7 ) and
place the immersed pipe on the immersed pipe support.
• Installing the sensor without a cleaning unit—Guide the
sensor cable through the reducer, the elbow and the
immersed pipe. Bolt all the pieces together (
Figure 7: on
page 8 ). When installing the sensor without a cleaning unit,
fit the plug from the set of small parts above the sensor
cable.
• Installing the sensor with a cleaning unit—Guide the sensor
cable and the air tubing through the elbow and the
immersed pipe. Bolt all pieces together (
Figure 8: on page
9 ).
