Installation Instructions

2 Unpacking
1. The Alliance-pro Sun Shield assembly includes the following:
(1) Sun Shield
(2) Standoffs
2. Required Tools
(1) Torx T-20 Security Wrench (Supplied with Alliance-pro dome)
(1) Allen Hex Key 4mm
3 Installation
1. Remove (2) tamper-proof screws from the
Alliance-pro trim ring closest to the top of the
assembly using the Torx T-20 Security Wrench
supplied with the Alliance-pro dome (see Figure
1). TIP: These are captive screws but unscrewing
them far enough, then turning the trim ring
upside down (if possible), they will thread out.
2. Screw in the (2) standoffs in place of the tamper-
proof screws removed in step 1 above using the
Allen key.
3. Position the slots in the Sun Shield over the top of the standoffs just
installed and rotate it to the optimum position to shield the dome from
sunlight and rain.
4. Secure the Sun Shield to the dome trim ring by screwing in the (2)
previously removed tamper-proof screws into the standoffs using the Torx
T-20 Security Wrench.
