Barrier Gate Arm Installation
The barrier gate arm connects to the operator with the arm
attachment channel and gate arm fl ange. Counterweights
in the attachment channel balance the gate arm for smooth
operation.

reference only. For actual part numbers, go to the parts
lists in the back of this booklet.
Attaching the Gate Arm
1. Make sure the barrier gate arm is in the full closed position.
2. With someone’s assistance, lift the gate arm (#1) up and level to a
height even with the barrier gate attachment channel (#2).
3. Slide the gate arm (#1) through the opening in the attachment channel
(#2) as shown. Once the gate arm is positioned, use the hardware
provided (#3) to attach the gate arm between the attachment channel
and arm fl ange (#4). Be sure to tighten down the bolts.
