Perfusion Element / Heating Element
Instructions for the Replacement of the Perfusion Element and / or Heating Element
of the MEA2100 Headstage MEA2100-HS60 and MEA2100-HS120.

4. Unscrew the twelfe screws (M2 x 4) which fix the heating element in the ground plate.
Remove the heating element together with the cable and the connector.
2. Remove the screws which fix the steel tubes of the perfusion element. They connect the steel
tubes to the ground of the headstage. Please use a TORX T6 screw driver. These screws (M2 x 3)
are smaller than the others which fix the plexiglass and metal part of the perfusion element.

3. Unscrew the eight screws (M2 x 5) which fix the metal cover and the perfusion element together
with the TORX T6 screw driver. Remove the four screws (M2 x 4) which fix the plexiglass of the
perfusion element. Remove the perfusion element together with metal shielding and tubes.
Do not mistake
the screws!
Do not clean the plexiglass with alcohol!
