Please read, follow and retain the operating
instructions! These operating instructions
describe several models with accessories.
Safety Information
Risk of electric shock and fire!
Connect and operate the appliance only
in accordance with the specifications
on the rating plate.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Supervise children to prevent them from
playing with the appliance.
Do not allow persons (also children) with
restricted physical sensory perception or
mental abilities or with lack of experience and
knowledge to operate the appliance unless
they are supervised or have been instructed
in the use of the appliance by somebody who
is responsible for their safety.
Do not use if the cord or appliance is
damaged.
To protect the user, all repairs to the
appliance, e.g. replacement of the power
cord, should be carried out only by our
customer service.
Do NOT
– bring the power cord into contact with hot
parts
– pull the power cord over sharp edges,
– carry the appliance by the power cord.
Do not use near water which
is in the bath, washbasin
or other vessels.
Risk of death
Never bring the appliance into contact with
water. This applies even if the appliance has
been switched off. Therefore, after using the
appliance or when taking a break from drying
your hair, pull out the mains plug.
Additional protection will be provided if
a residual-current-operated circuit-breaker
up to 30 mA is fitted to your domestic power
supply. Please ask an electrician for further
information.
Using the appliance

If overheating occurs, e.g. due to an air
opening being covered, the hair dryer auto-
matically switches off the heater, cools it down
with the fan and switches the heater on again
shortly afterwards.
To predry towel-dry hair, select the powerful
blower setting and a high temperature.
Keep the blower opening approx. 10 cm from
your head.

Any blower and temperature settings can be
combined.
Cooling button
The Cooling button can be switched
on at any setting; ideal for styling/
shaping your hair after drying.
The button is lit blue when the
cooling function is activated.
Crimping nozzle
For drying/shaping specific parts
of the hair. Nozzle must never
touch the hair; select a gentle
blower setting at a low
temperature.
