From the home screen, you can use the following shortcuts:

lock keypad Press X then f . To unlock your keypad, press Unlock then
your password (which is set to * until you change it).
open your
music,
messages, and
more Use shortcut keys to access your AT&T Music [ ,
camera and video e , contacts e , calendar d ,
messages R , and MEdia Net @ .
use voice
commands To activate voice commands, press and hold h . When
prompted, say one of the commands listed on the screen (such
as “Call” followed by a number or contact name).
open quick list Press and hold X for quick access to your sound profiles,
device lock and wireless manager.
play music or
games on an
airplane To keep using your games and music on a flight, turn off your
network and Bluetooth® services. Press and hold
X until the
quick list appears, then select Wireless Manager > All.
