Toggling input. Stops/Starts any status message output
from the RS-232, until st<enter> is sent again.
The RS-232 protocol allows some flexibility in its implementation.
Table 3-6 lists certain RS-232 values that are required by the 3010PAC
implementation.

3.3.4 Remote Probe Connection
The Models 3010PAC are split architecture (dual-chassis) instru-
ments, which have a Remote Probe, or Analysis Unit. The remote probe is
for receiving the oxygen sensor and thermistor signals. See Figure 3-7 for
remote probe connection. The connections of the Analysis Unit are covered
in detail in Part II, section 3.4, of this manual.
