At a setting of “zero”, the response time is purely set by the electronics to
4.5 seconds. The numbers above can and will change depending on application
and they merely serve to illustrate the effect of the digital filter.
3.3.8 FILSOL: Span with filter or with Solenoid
This function helps select whether the following span cycles will be done
using the span flag or with a prepared sample on the fluid reservoir of the 6020.
Before using the span flag, its span value has to be found out by first calibrating
the analyzer with a known concentration solution poured into the reservoir.
The FILSOL function is accessed through the System menu.

Set Span to CAl with
Filter or Solnd: FIL
FIL is for Filter calibration and is the default. To span with fluid on the
reservoir, use the Up/Down switch to select SOL for solenoid. Click Enter to
leave menu.
The following span calibration will be done with span fluid in the reservoir.
After, return to this function to set back to FIL, so that the following calibrations
are done normally with the filter.
