Error Messages
Lo = low battery indicator, replace with new CR2032 batteries.
Err = the scale is overloaded. Immediately remove weight from the scale to prevent
damage.

iPod/iPhone Function:
•
Powering ON/OFF:
o
Plug in the included power supply (do not use other power supplies
than the one included with your JOY scale)
o
Turn on the scale by changing the switch from 0 to I on the lower black
ring of the scale
o
Red LED light next to on/off switch will light up when on
•
Docking device:
o
The docking device for the iPod is located above the display
o
Take off the black protective cover and insert your iPod/iPhone in the
docking device.
•
Volume control:
o
Two push buttons (
+
and ▬) are located on the lower black ring of the
scale; next to the on/off-switch
o
to control the volume:
+
= more volume/turn up
or ▬ = less volume/turn down
•
Connection of additional audio sources:
o
Connect additional audio sources e.g. MP3-player by plugging them in
the AUDIO-IN outlet
•
Care Instruction Loudspeaker:
o
Turn the inner white ring which is located at the lower platform (OPEN
<----> LOCK) to the left towards OPEN
o
The loudspeaker grills opens and can be removed
o
Wipe off the loudspeaker grills using a slightly damp cloth
o
Make sure no moisture gets inside the loudspeaker
o
After cleaning, lower the perforated loudspeaker grills and turn the
inner white ring to the right towards LOCK.
