Chapter 4 Playing Digital Media Files
Playing Music
To play music files:
1. From the Selection screen, press 2 (or Music) on the remote.
2. The Music screen appears. Select a song from the available list by pressing the
appropriate number on the numeric keypad on the remote. For instance, if
the user wants to play song file 3, press 3 on the numeric keypad.
3. To view additional lists, page down by pressing the Page Down button on the
remote, or navigate (using the direction buttons on the remote) to the num-
ber groups at the top right side of the screen (1-9 10-18, etc.), then press Enter
on the remote to select another list of music files. Select a music file from the
next list that appears by pressing the appropriate number on the remote’s
numeric keypad.
While playing a single song (i.e., selecting one song from a list), the “Prev” and
“Next” buttons restart the song, while “Stop” stops the song and return the Player
to the Music screen. While playing a song from a list (i.e., using the “Play” or “Play
Random” options at the top of the screen), the “Prev” and “Next” buttons will play
the previous and next songs on the list, respectively.
Play Entire List in Order
To play an entire list of music files in alphabetic order:
1. Locate a list of music files to be played.
2. Using the direction buttons, navigate to “Play” at the top of the Music screen.
3. Press Enter on the remote. The first song on the list plays.
