PARTS LIST:

1 Driver Side Taillight Guard

2 4 -.70mm x 15mm Phillips Screws

1 Passenger Side Taillight Guard

2 4mm Lock Washers

2 Support Brackets

2 4mm Flat Washers

PROCEDURE:

1.

REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.

2. Open the tailgate and remove the driver’s side screws holding the taillight housing.

3.

Grasp the taillight housing with one hand and pull gently. NOTE: Be sure to pull straight back to
avoid possible damage. This is the same procedure required to change a burn out taillight in the
assembly. For more info see owner’s manual on replacing burn taillight bulbs.

4.

Attach (1) Support Bracket to lower locating stud located behind taillight housing (Figure 1).

5. Hold Support Bracket in place as you re-install the taillight housing back onto vehicle.

Carefully position Taillight Guard onto vehicle. Use the factory screws removed in step two to
attach Taillight Guard to vehicle (Figure 2). Do not tighten at this time. NOTE: If Mounting Brackets
don’t fit properly, they can be adjusted to fit properly using a pair of pliers.

7.

Attach Taillight Guard to Support Bracket using the included (1) 4-.70mm x 15mm Phillips Screw,
(1) 4mm Lock Washer, (1) 4mm Flat Washer (Figure 3). Do not tighten at this time.

8. Align and center Taillight Guard; then tighten all hardware at this time.
9. Repeat steps 2-8 to mount the passenger side Taillight Guard.
10. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
