3. Sierra M6-2 Configurations
The Sierra M6-2 SAS/SATA system is based on the Sierra M6-4 SAS/SATA system.
Sierra M6-4 has four ports, whose useful and common port configurations are described in the previous
section of this document.
Sierra M6-2 has two ports, limiting the number of configurations.
Compared to Sierra M6-4 ( see Figure 1-1 on page 2 ), Sierra M6-2 is “half-size”, supporting one or two
functions.
