MAXsa™ 19 MSA
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
The MAXsa™ 19 MSA is a versatile controller
designed to operate in a Power Wave
® AC/DC 1000
SD system and is responsible for relaying wire feed
commands to a MAXsa™ wire drive. It is connected to
the Power Wave
® AC/DC 1000 SD by a K2683-xx
ArcLink cable and to the wire drive by a K1785-xx 14
pin control cable
RECOMMENDED PROCESSES AND
EQUIPMENT
• The MAXsa™ 19 MSA is intended for modified
series arc welding only with the Power Wave ®
AC/DC 1000 SD, and the MAXsa™ Feed Head.

• K2803-1 Power Wave ® AC/DC 1000 SD
• K2312-2 MAXsa™ 29 Wire Drive
• K2626-2 MAXsa™ 19 MSA
• K2683-xx Control Cable (5 pin – 5 pin) - power
source to MAXsa™ 19 MSA, or
MAXsa™ 19 MSA to MAXsa 10.
• K1785-xx Control Cable (14 pin – 14 pin) -
MAXsa™ 19 MSA to Wire Drive.
