Assembly of Power Divider
STEP 1
Install the Bearing Race into the Hub cap.
STEP 2
Install the Bearing on the Output Shaft. FIGURE Mnt-R-0054. Place the Shaft into the Hub Cap. FIGURE Mnt-
R-0055. Place the Bearing (FIGURE Mnt-R-0056) on the Shaft and drive it down. Place the Gear (FIGURE
Mnt-R-0057) on the Shaft.
STEP 3
Apply some Locktite on the Adjusting Nut (FIGURE Mnt-R-0059). Install the Adjusting Nut onto the Shaft.
Tighten the Nut until it is difficult to turn the Shaft. FIGURE Mnt-R-0060. Check to be sure that the Retaining
Ring is fully engaged in the counter bore. While holding Hub, tap each end of Shaft and check to see if it has
