13. Re-install motor/solenoid assembly onto drum and rotate
until it seats on the input shaft and motor coupling. Align
the top of the motor assembly with the tiebars.
14. Replace the tie bar bolts and tighten to 75-85 in-lbs
torque.
15. Unless the hole is used to mount the winch, install a
7/16” setscrew (item #5) in the hole in the gear end
bearings (Hole is on the back of the end bearing in the
view at right). Tighten setscrew until flush with end
bearing. Tightening setscrew too deeply could cause
interference with the ring gear and prevent proper
freespooling.
