Using KPM to Operate Applications from Shortcuts

4.3.1

Procedure for setting up shortcut keys

Assign a key or key code to KPM for each user application to enable shortcut operations.

(1)

Create a shortcut to an application, folder or file that you want to assign a shortcut operation.

(2)

Select the shortcut you have created, and right click on the selected shortcut to open Properties.

(3)

To set up an option argument for the application that you want to assign a shortcut operation, enter the

argument after the application name displayed in the Link field.

Key codes can be assigned to all keys except the F/A key; however, it is recommended to assign

key codes to function keys and special function keys.

For the details of the arguments, refer to the specifications of each application.
