MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Daily Maintenance
Clean the outside of the

machine.
Check that the throttle

control functions safely.
Check that the stop switch

functions.
Check that all nuts and

screws are tightened.
Weekly Maintenance
Check the starter, the

starter cord, and the return
spring.
Make sure that the vibration

damping elements are not
damaged.
Clean the outside of the

spark plug. Remove and
check the electrode gap.
Adjust the gap to 0.030” or
change the spark plug.
Clean the air intake of the

blower housing.
Clean or replace the muf-
5.
fl er’s spark arrestor screen
Clean the carburetor area.

Clean the cooling fi ns on

the cylinder.
Monthly Maintenance
Clean the fuel tank.

Clean the carburetor and the

Clean the air intake of the

Check the fuel fi lter and the

fuel line.
Replace if necessary.
