Installation Instructions (44-3003 & 44-3005)
Remove outer dust boot clamp from tie rod and slide down
Loosen and remove inner tie rod at steering rack
Note: Vehicles requiring rack adapters, use thread locker
Clean rack threads and install & torque steering rack adapter
Note: Use thread locking compound on clevis mounting bolt
Tighten to spec with clevis positioned as shown,
(vertical)
4WD: Unplug differential solenoid
4WD: Disconnect U-joint straps at differential yoke
