ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Connect the inlet plug to 120VAC single phase,
grounded input suitable for 15 amp service.
INSTALLING THE HOSE/HOOD AND
EXHAUST/EXTENSION SETS
The hose and hood set and exhaust/extension set can
be connected to the fan and to each other using the
supplied hose clamps; refer to Figure 1 for possible
recommended configurations.
K1668-1 Hose and Hood Set includes:
(1) 6 in. diameter steel-reinforced hose, 16 ft. long
with magnet-mounted hood
(1) 6 in. hose clamp
K1668-2 Exhaust/Extension Set includes:
(1) 6 in. diameter steel-reinforced hose, 16 ft. long
(2) 6 in. hose clamps
Maximum recommended total hose length is
4 hoses (64 ft., 20 m), or 2 hoses (32 ft., 10m) on
each side of the fan.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The K1666-1 Mobiflex 100-NF Portable Fan provides
a portable low vacuum, high volume airflow for fume
extraction and ventilation applications. It is intended
for use in close or hard-to-reach spaces, on uneven or
multilevel ground, or any other situation (such as a
tank or small booth) requiring a small, lightweight,
highly portable fume extraction system without filtra-
tion. It comes with a 20 ft. cord to connect to 120VAC,
1ph, 60Hz supply, and a Start/Stop switch.
The portable fan should be used with the K1668-1
Hose and Hood Set, which consists of a 6in, 16ft.
long, steel-reinforced flexible hose and a magnet-
mounted hood. The K1668-2 Exhaust/Extension set is
a 16ft. connection hose that can be used to extend the
inlet side of the extraction system, and/or installed on
the exhaust side of the fan to run exhaust further from
the inlet.
