SPARK ARRESTER
Gasoline engine mufflers may emit sparks when the
engine is running. Some federal, state, or local laws
require spark arresters in locations where unarrested
sparks could present a fire hazard.
The Power-Arc 5500 is supplied with a spark arrester
as standard equipment. Refer to the engine owner’s
manual for proper maintenance.
An incorrect additional spark arrester may lead to
damage to the engine or reduce performance.
