Introduction and Application:

This Ultravation Whole House HEPA Filtration system provides
relief from allergies and other respiratory related health issues as
well as reducing particulates such as dust, mites, pollen, mold
spores, pet dander and bacteria. The Ultravation Whole House
HEPA system is 99.97% efficient at removing particles as small
as .3 micron.

THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED TO OPERATE
CONTINUOUSLY. DO NOT WIRE TO BLOWER
CONTROL.


Installation requirements:

The desired location for installation of the Ultravation Whole
House HEPA system is in the return air ductwork; This Product
should never be installed on the supply side
.

This product requires 120v 60hz power.


Once the Ultravation Whole House HEPA system is installed, it is
very important to maintain the unit by changing the pre- filter
periodically (typically in 6 month intervals) so as not to obstruct
airflow, damage components or increase energy costs.

The Ultravation Whole House HEPA system has been designed
for use in conjunction with virtually any HVAC system.

Do not install this unit in the supply duct.

Be sure to plan adequate space for filter replacement.

Before installation is complete, seal all joints and seams
with duct tape or caulking.

Note: Handle fits either door. A Phillips screw driver will be
required to install the handle. Handle holes are behind the
label on either door, depending on the orientation of the
installation.

Maintenance:


The filter media in your air cleaner must be changed
periodically. The frequency of filter replacement is best
determined by visual examination. However, a 6 month
replacement of the pre-filter is strongly recommended (this
will greatly pro-long the life of the HEPA Filter. The HEPA
(larger) filter is recommended for a 5-year replacement
(individual results vary)

HEPA and MERV-11 Filter Replacement:

Steps for replacing filter:

1. Open the access door by lifting up on the handle and

pulling the bottom of the door toward

you. Then slide the top of door down, removing the

door completely.

2. Remove the desired filter by pulling out used filter

and discard accordingly.

3. Slide new filter into cabinet with “airflow label

pointing in the direction of the airflow.

4. Replace access door.


Replacement filters can be obtained through your
installing contractor or local dealer.
