After reverse/reinforcement stitches are
sewn, the sewing machine stops and cuts
the thread.

Memo

● Reverse/reinforcement stitches will not be

sewn and the thread will not automatically
be cut if the start/stop button is pressed at
the end of the stitching. Be sure to press the
reverse/reinforcement stitch button at the
end of the stitching.

Saving stitch settings

Adjusted stitch width and length settings can be
saved so that they will be specified each time the
stitch is selected. The various settings can be saved
for each utility stitch.

Select the stitch, and then adjust the stitch
width and length.

To adjust the stitch width, press

(–) and

(+). To adjust the stitch length, press

(–) and

(+).

• For details on selecting a stitch, refer to

“Selecting stitching” (page 68).
