Manually Drawing Up
Lower Thread
When sewing gathers or darts, the lower thread can be manually
drawn up so that it will have some excess.
1. Pass the thread along the groove in the direction of the arrow,
and leave it there without cutting it.
•
The bobbin cover should still be removed.
2. While lightly holding the end of the upper thread, slowly turn the
balance wheel to the front (counter-clockwise) once by hand to
lower and then raise the needle.
3. Pull on the upper thread to draw up the lower thread.
4. Pull out about 10 cm (4") of both threads and place them toward
the back of the machine under the presser foot.

Quando si cuciono crespe o pieghine, il filo inferiore può essere teso
manualmente in modo che sia un po' in eccesso.
1. Passare il filo lungo la scanalatura nella direzione della freccia e
mantenerlo così senza tagliarlo.
• Il coperchio della spolina deve essere tolto.
2. Tenendo leggermente l'estremità del filo superiore, girare
lenatmente con la mano una volta il volantino verso il davanti (in
senso antiorario) per abbassare e quindi sollevare l'ago.
3. Tirare il filo superiore per tendere il filo inferiore.
4. Staccare circa 10 cm di entrambi i fili e metterli sul retro della
macchina sotto il reostato.

Al coser fruncidos o pinzas, puede levantar manualmente el hilo inferior
para que haya un cierto exceso de hilo.
1. Pase el hilo por la ranura siguiendo la dirección de la flecha y déjelo
ahí sin cortarlo.
•
La tapa de la canilla no debe estar colocada.
2. Coja con suavidad el final del hilo superior y dé con cuidado una vuelta
con la mano a la ruedecilla hacia delante (hacia la izguierda) para bajar
la aguja.
3. Tire del hilo superior para levantar el hilo inferior.
4. Saque unos 10 cm (4") de ambos hilos y colóquelos en dirección a la
parte trasera de la máquina, debajo del prensatelas.
