3. Tap

. Markers with letter labels indicate search matches on the map.

4. Tap a marker to open a balloon that contains a label. Drag the bar at the bottom of the

screen upwards to open a screen with more information about the location, as well as
options for obtaining directions.

To get directions:

1. While viewing a map, tap

.

2. Enter a starting point in the My Location field, or leave as is to allow GPS to find your

location, and your destination in the End point field.

 Tap

to open a menu with options for selecting an address from your Contacts or a

point that you touch on a map.

 Tap

to reverse the directions.

3. Tap the icon for car, public transit, bicycling, or walking directions.

4. Your route will be displayed as a blue line on the map. Drag the bar at the bottom of the

screen upwards to view the directions. To view alternate routes, tap the gray lines on the
map.

To add layers for familiar features such as Traffic, Terrain or Google Latitude:

1. While viewing a map, tap .

2. Tap the layer you'd like to view to place a checkmark. You can add multiple layers.

 If you turn a layer on, the layer will remain on the map until you specifically turn it off

or clear the map.

Google Navigation

Another Google Maps navigation application is available on your phone. It uses your current
location (provided by GPS communication to your phone) to provide various location-based
services.

1. Open the Maps app and search for directions.

2. When the route is displayed on the map, tap

.

LG Tag+

LG Tag+ lets you set up tags as NFC touch points that apply your own custom settings to your
phone by just tapping the phone to the tag. For example, you could have one tag with the
settings you want at work and one for settings when you‘re at home.
