LG Mobile Phone Software update via Over-the-Air
(OTA)
This feature allows you to update the firmware of your phone to the newer
version conveniently via OTA without connecting the USB cable. This feature is
only available if and when LG makes the newer version of the firmware available
for your device.
To check for a software update:

Press > >
Settings > About phone > Software update > Software
update check.
You will be notified if a software upgrade exists or if you have the current
software. To automatically check for updates, make sure
Auto software update is
checked.
Updating Your Profile
This option allows you to automatically update your online user profile information. If
you choose to change your user name and select a new one online, you must then
update the user name on your device.
1. Press >
Settings > About phone > Settings update > Update Profiles.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
