You can watch the screen in various picture formats; S Sp pe ecctta acclle e , O Orriig giin na all, 4 4 :: 3 3,
1 1 6 6 :: 9 9, 1 1 4 4 :: 9 9 and Z Zo oo om m1 1//2 2.
If a fixed image is displayed on the screen for a long time, that fixed image may
become imprinted on the screen and remain visible.
You can adjust the enlarge proportion using D D // E E button.
This function works in the following signal.
• SSp peeccttaaccllee
When your TV receives the wide screen signal, when
selected it will adjust the picture horizontally, in non-lin-
ear proportion, to fill the entire screen.
• O Orriiggiinnaall
When your TV receives a wide screen signal it will auto-
matically change to the picture format to be broadcast.
• 4 4::3 3
The following selection will allow you to view a picture
with an original 4:3 aspect ration, grey bars will appear
on both the left and right hand of the screen.
• 1 16 6::9 9
The following selection will allow you to adjust the pic-
ture horizontally, in linear proportion, to fill the entire
screen(useful for viewing 4:3 formatted DVDs).
Press the R RA AT TIIO O button repeatedly to select the desired picture format.
You can also adjust A Assp peecctt R Raattiio o in the Picture menu.
