Errors and Lights
• If you are using your own Ethernet cable, try using the Ethernet cable that came with the HP
MediaSmart Server.

router

DMR
Issue:
The HP MediaSmart Server is not listed on your
DMR
or DMA.
Solution:
You can either:
•
Turn on Windows Home Server Media Sharing
•
Turn on Windows Home Server Media Sharing
1. At the PC, double-click the Windows Home Server icon
in the system tray and log on.
At the Mac, select Launch Home Server Console from the Server menu .
2. Click Settings in the upper right corner.
3. Click the Media Sharing link in the left navigation bar.
