2. Slide the battery release latch (2) to lock the battery into place.
3. Align the notches on the battery (1) with the tabs on the computer, and then press down to close
the battery (2). The battery automatically locks into place.
To remove the battery:
CAUTION: Removing a battery that is the sole power source for the computer can cause loss of
information. To prevent loss of information, save your work and initiate Hibernation or shut down the
computer before removing the battery.
