To copy null values from Enscribe files to null values in an SQL table,
click on Use SQL Nulls.

In the First pane, click on one of the following:

OrdinalRecNum. Then enter the number of records to be skipped in
the OrdinalRecNum field.

RecordSpec. Enter the primary-key value for the starting record of
an unstructured, relative, or entry-sequenced file in the RecordSpec
field.

KeyValue. Then enter the approximate position of the starting
record for key-sequenced files in the KeyValues field.

KeySpecifier. Then enter the positions of the record with the
specified alternate key value in the KeyValue field.

Define Input-File Options

Set input-file options using the In Option pane, as shown in Figure 8-11.
Not all options are applicable to all object types.

To define input-file options

1.

Enter the input block length in the Blockin field.

2.

Set the compact or no compact option by clicking on Compact.

3.

Enable translation to EBCDIC by clicking on EBCDICin.

4.

To open an input field in shared exclusion mode, click on Share.

5.

Set the trim-character option in the Trim check-box; then enter the trim
character in the Trim field.

6.

Set the variable length option by clicking on Varin.
