The Storage System mapping list shows all the credentials that are currently defined. The fields are
as follows:

Storage System Name - Name of the registered HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage system.

Storage System ID - System ID for the HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage system.

Storage System User - User name associated with the HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage system.

Windows User - Windows user who created the Storage System credential.

To add a mapping:
1.

Click Add. The Map Registered HP 3PAR Storage System Credential dialog appears.

Choose the appropriate HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System entry from the list, then click OK.

You can only remove one entry at a time. Confirmation will be given during the removal
process.

If an HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage system ID already exists on the mapping list, any registered
entry that has the same Storage System ID is filtered out.

vCenter Mapping

The vCenter Mapping option is used to map existing vCenter credential from a selected vCenter
Store Credential file for use by Host Explorer to make inquiries about ESX host information.

The vCenter mapping list shows all the credentials that are currently defined. The fields are as
follows:

vCenter Server - Name of the vCenter server.

User Name - User name associated with the vCenter server.

File Path - Location of the credential store file.

To add a mapping:
1.

Start a RMVMware CLI session and execute RMVMware VcenterRegister to generate the
XML credential file for the particular vCenter you want to map.
