NOTE:
These instructions configure only the VTS to which you are connected. To configure
RMDR on all VTSs, you must repeat the steps on every VTS attached to the system.
Use these steps
To do this . . .
1.
In the Configuration section of the page, select one of the following options
to configure how often you want the VTS RMDR window to occur:
One time – Runs the VTS RMDR window once. You must select a start date.
Weekly/Daily – Runs on the day(s) you select.
Monthly – Runs on a specific date each month. You must select a date. If
you select Week of Month, the window is available on the specified day of
the week in the specified week of the month. For example, you can choose
to run VTS RMDR on the third Thursday of the month.

Select when the window should open by using the Window Open Time
drop-down lists. This defines when the window starts (opens). If VTS RMDR
is ready to run at any time during this window, it will start and continue
until it completes.

Specify the duration of the window using the Window Duration drop-down
lists. This defines the length of time that the start window is open. To ensure
that VTS RMDR completes in time, specify a short duration.
4.
To trigger VTS RMDR even though warnings were generated during backups
(as indicated by an EMS message), select the Continue with warnings?
checkbox. If you do not select this checkbox, Neoview VTS waits for the
next EMS message that does not include warnings before triggering
migrations.
5.
Click the Update Configuration button.
After the backup activity completes on the Neoview server, VTS RMDR runs
when the next service window opens.
Schedule a VTS RMDR service

Run VTS RMDR immediately only if there is an RMDR list file that has not
been backed up by Automated RMDR. Once there has been a successful backup
of VTS RMDR data, the data cannot be backed up to tape again until the next
successful backup from the Neoview server.
In the Configuration section of the page, click the Initiate RMDR button.
Run VTS RMDR immediately
In the Configuration section of the page, set Enable RMDR to No. All RMDR
windows are suspended until VTS RMDR is re-enabled.
