Verifying WMI connectivity
To test WMI connectivity from a Storage Mirroring Reporting Center server:
1. Select Start, Run , then enter
“WBEMTest”
.
2. Click Connect .
3. Edit the following fields:
a. Change
“root\default”
to
\\servername\root\cimv2
, where
servername
is the name of the
Storage Mirroring server.
b. Enter the USER and PASSWORD credentials supplied to Storage Mirroring Reporting Center for that
server node.
NOTE: The USER should be entered as “server or domain\username”
Connection will either pass or fail.
